For National Stuttering Awareness Week (NSAW), we will be having an eye-opening conversation on ableism and stuttering. We will be joined by leading researchers Dr. Chris Constantino and Dr. Hope Gerlach-Houck to define, explore, and understand the impact of ableism on stuttering and people who stutter.

During this talk, you will be led in a research-based thought-provoking conversation, and learn ways to start combating ableism today.

This conversation is open to AIS clients and the general public, including Speech Language Pathologists (SLP’s) seeking to better understand how they can be part of this positive interruption.
