This is a free event specifically for school-based SLPs.

Though it looms large over every aspect of the school SLP’s job, the IEP isn’t always a great fit for contemporary approaches to stuttering therapy. In this workshop, aimed at school SLPs, we’ll do a deep dive on how to better match paperwork to practice.

Topics will include:

• efficient ways of qualifying students
• how to create space for ongoing, dynamic assessment
• the all-important matters of goal writing, tracking progress, and getting parents and teachers on board

To accommodate differences in school start dates, this workshop will be offered TWICE: once in August and once in September.
