Here at AIS, we are always impressed by the immense talent that exists within our community. Jimmy Li is no exception!

Please join us for a night of classical music with AIS community member and accomplished pianist, Jimmy Li. Jimmy will be performing pieces by various composers, such as Bach, Haydn, Liszt - with a few special guests from the AIS community sharing their own musical talents!

We will be hosting this event at The Church of the Heavenly Rest, known for its incredible architecture, acoustics, and candlelight concerts.

‍

All proceeds from this event will go directly to assisting AIS in helping those who stutter access specialized therapy, support, and community. The suggested donation to attend is $50, but any amount is welcome and deeply appreciated!

Jimmy Li is 17 years old, and started playing piano at the age of 4. An accomplished pianist, Jimmy has achieved many feats in his journey, such as:

‍

- Won the Bronze Medal in an Asian Music Competition in Russia at the age of 10.

- Passed the highest level of ABRSM, 8th level at age 11.

- Admitted by Manhattan School of Music Precollege program in 2021, and earned the Sassa Maniotis Scholarship in 2022.

- Won the Golden Award in the Young Maestro International Piano Competition at Carnegie Hall in 2024.

- Won the Golden Award in the Elite International Music Competition, with the only perfect score at Carnegie Hall in 2025.

Besides piano, Jimmy is also an active member of an adult choir group in the Church of Heavenly Rest. He is also a big fan of Robotics, and attended Robotics Camps in MIT and Columbia University.
