Multidirectional approach, not like standard speech therapy. Like the multi-pronged direction involved in speech and communication. Highly recommend.

I have had traditional stuttering therapy regarding stuttering techniques and stuttering strategies which helped at times but never actually dealt with the deeper challenges of stuttering. Speech therapy services with AIS has been eye opening for me because for the first time speech therapy means communication and counseling... I feel heard, I feel respected, and encouraged... I have been able to take chances, try new things, get back into things I was passionate about, really finally enjoying living my life as a person who stutters.

Looked for many other places to do therapy but did not felt like those were the places because I felt they were trying to sell the magic potion to cure stuttering and make me fluent which I felt didn't exist. But after coming in contact with AIS, I was able to know how to live with stuttering and how to feel free and less anxious even while stuttering... They also gave me financial assistance to help me. I couldn't recommend enough of this place. Would give more stars if Google allowed me.

AIS offers a fresh and powerful approach to stuttering therapy. The skilled therapists have tremendous passion for what they do. They know that one-size-doesn't-fit-all in stuttering therapy and so they individualize therapy to each person. If you're thinking about making positive changes to live well with stuttering, AIS is a fantastic guide. Go for it, you won't regret it.

I have been with AIS for 15 years. I started when I was 7 years old when I was diagnosed with a severe stutter that ranked between 85 and 95% on the severity index for stuttering. I am now the CEO of a medical diagnostics startup and I am consulting on two other healthcare startups which I am only able to do because AIS helped me free my voice and control and live with my stutter. I will forever be grateful.
